Company history
Herman Cunha founded State Auto Body Inc. in 1994. After years of doing auto body repair for other Fort Lauderdale body shops, he saw a need for a Broward County body shop that emphasized customer satisfaction. He found an Oakland Park collision repair site that was convenient for Fort Lauderdale body shop customers, His brother joined him a year later. Since then, Herman has built a team of skilled craftsmen whose reputation for superb body work extends from Miramar collision repair customers to Boca Raton car paint customers.
Herman's car paint work has won his customers' cars Best In Show awards at national car shows and been featured in Corvette Magazine. Although the business has grown since those early years, Herman still personally works on many customer vehicles.
